About Us

It is time to have a New Beginning! Join New Horizon Singles (NHS) and enjoy all that life has to offer. NHS provides opportunities for personal growth through inspirational and spiritual speakers, and through fellowship with others. It offers an opportunity to be refreshed and renewed, both mentally and spiritually. NHS makes a commitment to be the support group and spiritual class each member or visitor had hoped it would be.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join the New Horizon Sunday school class of the First United Methodist Church. Our Social time begins at 9:00 a.m. in room 231 with a time for visiting, fellowship, and coffee. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and form many lasting friendships. The class Officers will be happy to introduce you to fellow class members and help you become comfortable with the class structure. We join our hearts together in class worship at 9:30 a.m., and learn from various informative speakers.

NHS provides a class calendar with many varied and fun-filled activities, as well as opportunities for class and FUMC service projects such as Beans and Rice, Tarrant County Food Bank, and Second Saturday Food Delivery. In addition, there are flyers with great activities that are hosted by class members.
